Douglas I. (“Sam”) Happel.  Mr. Happel maintains a broad business and commercial transaction practice.  He represents clients in commercial real estate and asset acquisition transactions.  He counsels companies on general corporate matters including entity formation, corporate governance and the review and preparation of business-critical agreements including commercial real estate leases, technology licensing agreements, professional services agreements and oil and gas leases. Mr. Happel has also served as outside general counsel to an emerging software services company.  Mr. Happel earned his undergraduate degree from Cornell University and his JD from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law.  Mr. Happel is admitted to practice in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and the United States District Court, Western District of Pennsylvania.
